If you want to preserve your valuable vinyl LPs and cassettes and stop worrying about them getting scratched, then you should check out this tool. This application is capable of capturing the sound from vinyl LPs and tape cassettes and recording it to digital formats which can be stored and played on your computer or on modern multimedia devices. This tool can actually capture and record the sound from any source connected to the line input of your soundcard: not only tape cassette and vinyl players, but also CDs, DVDs, VCRs, TV, radio, MiniDisc players, and so on.

LP Recorder is optimized for the recording of vinyl and cassettes; therefore it provides specific, advanced features such as the capability of avoiding distortion, or the possibility of selecting the frequency mode of the recording: stereo, 2-channel mono or single-channel mono.

This neat application is very simple and easy to use. It comes with a straightforward interface that poses no problems. It also displays visual level meters that help checking the recording levels.

In conclusion, LP Recorder is a handy audio recorder that makes recording the sound from vinyl LPs and tapes a simple and convenient job.

Bought the $69 version - got the registration number and tried to register. Got error message. So I copied and pasted the data from the email they set me - still no success. Sent multiple email (their feedback email doesn't really exist) and have heard nothing. so I've got a program i have entered a great deal of data into - have spent $69 for - can't get it registered and can't use it until it's registered and to top it all off - I can't get any response from the company. If i ever hear from them I'll post again -- as it is -DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM !!!!!!

I work with Live Lite 6 LE and Pro Tools, and neither on of them can convert all of your TAPES, or Albums over to a MP3 file as quickly and with digital clarity as the LP Recorder can. The added bonus is the LP ripper. I did not know that it had as much editing power as it does and i found myself using both of them in the midst of having "Industy Standard Software"
